Kinder Surprise in brief
TREAT, DISCOVER, PLAY
Kinder Surprise was first created in Italy in 1972 and launched in the UK in 1974 with the slogan ‘treat, discover, play’. The product is comprised of a milk chocolate egg containing a small toy in a plastic capsule. The egg has a high milk content, 32% solids compared with 15% cocoa solids, which creates the child-friendly texture and taste. Each egg is individually wrapped, so that every Kinder Surprise is its own small experience to be savoured thoughtfully. You can learn more about why smaller portions are important here. Kinder Surprise toys are designed and manufactured with safety and quality at the heart of the process – from testing and marketing to expert consultation, certification, and packaging.
