Responding to the changing consumption habits of the young adult market, Michele Ferrero created a milk chocolate-coated wafer with a creamy hazelnut filling, individually wrapped to encourage portion control. Since its advent, the original product has been diversified to include white and dark versions, as well as Kinder Bueno minis.
